Was on that flight. They put me on the rescheduled flight 1/12 which meant an overnight in EWR for my flight.

The first 3 times I called UA they couldn't "see availability" on any *A flights and refused to put me onto any other carrier. Got onto LH on the last try.

Ended up in 1st class all the way (op-ups) and got $350 in compensation so I have nothing to complain. Noticed a lot of UA *G op-ups to 1st DEL-FRA FWIW.
