as a matter of being fair, I do in fact look at Delta and AA. Delta, true to form, has almost nil in the way of international flight cancellations.

UA835 ORD-PVG 3+ hours late
UA881 ORD-NRT 1.5hrs late
UA895 ORD-HKG 1 hr late

UA844 GRU-ORD almost 7 hours late
UA879 HNL-NRT canceled on 1/9 and 3+ hours late 1/10.

This one I don't understand. UA flight 82, EWR to DEL B777 is scheduled to leave Newark on time tonight and land in Delhi on Sunday night on time, yet the return DEL - EWR UA 83 on Sunday night is already showing cancelled due to aircraft maintenance. What gives?

UA83 cancelled today as well as tomorrow for mx. Perhaps they are using the arriving aircraft from 82 to operate a special section tomorrow.

930 SFO- LHR delayed 45 min so far for customer service. A bag fell out of an overhead and hit a woman on the head, and despite bleeding profusely and complaining of pain, she did not want to deplane. Paramedics and police aboard to remove her at the captain's insistence.

NRT to SIN is delayed until 9:30PM tonight from I think 6:10, now getting in at 4:15AM (vs 12:45 scheduled). Luckily they agreed to put me on SQ11 instead, which only gets in 45 minutes earlier (it's scheduled to arrive at 3:30 and is my regular flight from NRT when not connecting from the US), but has the added bonus of being SQ a380 business (1-2-1 configuration) instead of 8 across on the UA 3-class 777.
I will sleep well on the flight...
