It was a few years ago that Marriott rolled back the evening social hour from M-Thurs with the carrot that offerings would be more robust on the 3 days & that it would "standardize" the RI social hour - which basically resulted in not much changing other than some embraced the 3 days vs. 4 & offerings ranged from barely anything to some more robust. If you recall, I actually started a thread saying post your RI experiences. Perhaps if I've got time later today I'll pull that thread up & this one can get merged into that
