Upgrades looking good next few days.

I had been watching HKG-DFW for 1/14. Early last week I saw 1/12 and 1/13 almost full (EF showing low J and F bookings) and Weds quite full. Late last week the HKG-DFW on 1/12 and 1/13 opened up, as did 1/14. Those dates showed J7 and a number of F seats. At one points Thurs/Fri (1/15 and 1/16) flights had J0 but now they have some seats.

Last few days there has even been C availability on EF showing one or two days before departure. IIRC today's (1/11) HKG-DFW had C1 and then went to C2 at various points on Saturday (HK time).

I had an EF alert on C for 1/14 and randomly looked at EF this evening and saw C availability, confirmed it with AA (got the upgrade ^) even though EF didn't send the alert e-mail. Only aisles seats currently available but I'll live. I had requested the upgrade back in early November, FWIW.

Last night EF sent me an alert about a MCE exit row opening up. I also noticed a MC- exit row opened up, so I assume (but have no proof) some upgrades cleared last night.
