Just wanted to confirm this to make sure I'm reading about the same hotel I'm thinking of booking.
Can't answer your first question about the construction, but can confirm that the Residences were re-named Hilton Dubai the Walk and it is located opposite the Hilton Jumeirah Beach and joined by an overhead walkway.
