I wouldn't attempt to bring your kid's entire school choir through the GS lobby for their annual trip to Washington DC, but companions-- even a companion on a different flight but just checking in at the same time you-- should not be a problem. +2 or +3 on the same PNR/flight is also no issue.
That's great. So a non-GS member can come through with me AND check a bag there? It would just be my wife or business partner.
