One of the things to learn from this problem is not to return to the DFW Club where most passengers might return, but to seek help in another club. We suspect this saved us at least two hours of waiting in line.
Finding our luggage also was difficult, as all luggage was placed on the floor at D31. With a large full plane, it was very difficult to find our distinctive luggage.
This sounds like a mess operationally. I think a few were accommodated on this flight today because some people were talking about what happened Monday night. At boarding there were 30 people on the upgrade list and only one cleared.
