The Mrs and me have done this r/t about 6 or 7 times now. Take 1CG if you can get it. We have tried 2CG, 2HJ and a sprinkling of other seats. 1CG is it for us from now on. The extra legroom and not having a seat recline onto your "space" is wonderful. Also, the CG seats give you each access to the aisle without having to climb over one of you, although in 2CG you don't have that problem you do have the problem of the seat in from of you making getting up more difficult.
The only issue with 1CG is that there is just a dinky seat pocket on the bulkhead from anything you want to stow. But I'll take that tradeoff.
