Thanks for the feedback. You know the story about mad dogs and Englishmen? Will be there in HOT season (Aug). The whole Vegas hotel scenario is damn confusing as prices are very reasonable. Palms, Hard Rock, Mandalay Bay, MGM Grande, NY NY all offering good deals.

Will take a look at the car rental prices. Thanks for the tip
