Something to keep in mind when signing up through the conga.....

If you sign up as a platinum member using a person's ID who signed up only as a "gold" member, the "gold" member will not receive the "referral" according to the terms on the site.

Platinum members receive referral credits for either gold or platinum members sign-ups; gold members only receive credit for gold member sign-ups.

I think this is why people are being "missed" on occasion in here...it's the differences between gold and platinum.
