Has anybody ever had success freezing their Experian report and getting Chase/Amex to pick another agency for their inquiries? I have overwhelmingly applied for Chase and Amex cards compared to anything else, and both ALWAYS seem to use Experian. Hence, my credit score is around 750 (still very good, but my Equifax and TransUnion scores are well above 800) and it's mainly due to the number of inquiries. I've also had to call the reconsideration lines more often than I'd like. For contrast, I just applied for 2 new cards from Barclays (US Airways and ArrivalPlus), and got instant approval on both (because they queried TransUnion).
