Finished a stay recently. A couple of things:

1. Breakfast: Plat gets complimentary breakfast at the restaurant on the ground floor which is for continental/cold items only. You can order something cooked (e.g., eggs), but it will be extra. Breakfast is offered until 11am.

2. Upgrade: No upgrade was given while the agent told I was given a 'nice' room upon check-in. There were two tiny windows with next building's staircase view. There were a bunch of better rooms available upon checking marriott.com. The front desk assistant manager reached out to me to offer a better room after contacting Marriott Customer Service.

3. Rooftop Restaurant: It was closed due to the cold weather. They said they normally close it during winter time (from early-mid/Nov).

4. Location: Excellent for Duomo & shopping. It costs Euro 8-10 to get to the central train station.
