Are PayPal Here merchants miscoding transactions?
A week ago I went to a gelato/coffee shop and charged it onto my CSP. When it posted, I noticed that I didn't get the 2x dining points like I was supposed to. The merchant's name also started with "PP*" (this means PayPal, right?) Anyone else have issues with bonus points getting applied when paying at merchants that use PayPal's reader? I'm wondering if this is just an isolated case or if PayPal forces a single merchant category for everyone.
(BTW, I wish Chase had more details for each transaction on their online banking so I could at least see what category the merchant was.)
