I find LHR pretty damn annoying, but I haven't been on the 787 yet and this seems like a good opportunity to get this out of my system.

For those of you who've spent time in E+ on the 788, what did you think ?
Is it your new favorite AC ? or just a 777 w/ a new interior ?

The other option I'm considering is the LH A388 ex-SFO to FRA and then a hop into HAM.
I too am heading to HAM at the same time. Going MSP-IAH-LHR-HAM. It looks like the late departure is pretty solid on the 788. When I booked the 6:00 was also on the 788, but they swapped. Not the end of the world, and I booked that routing for the best price anyway. Still, it would have been nice to be on the 788 (even with the narrow seats).

Personally I love FRA. Lounges are great and plentiful. I haven't been to T2 yet. If you are there 12/22 you will probably find me in the UA club waiting on my Germanwings flight.
