I'd say calling is an answer, but many agents will tell you they can't read the fare rules to you, or they will read you an excerpt that doesn't match what they just told you about a restriction, etc.
I've had to force the issue a few times when pricing irregularities came up, and as a result I've been read some really wacky fare basis codes that I did not recognize (I always run the captcha before purchase). I wonder if special intervention from the rate desk can result in a change of the fare basis?
Does anyone think this is weird? I can't think of a lot of reputable companies that hide their purchase conditions, esp with $$$ at stake.
