Just wondering if you had had actual experience about #2 and #3, above.

I am ticketed on CX 450/451 TPE-NRT round-trip in J on one ticket.

On the return portion, I will fly CX 451 and then immediately take a same-night flight to HKG. The TPE-HKG sector will be booked in Y on another ticket.

Therefore, if I check in at Narita for CX 451 NRT-TPE in J and then TPE-HKG in Y, although the same flight number but in a different class and under two different tickets, that would be TWO sectors, right?
