Had a >2 hr layover in ORD for xmas travel from SFO-LGA cut to 46 minutes. Is it unreasonable to expect the 1K line to accommodate me on a nonstop to any NYC area airport given I still want to get in as early as I had originally planned, but without the headache of what is sure to be a misconnect given how horrid ORD is in general, let alone in the middle of winter during peak xmas travel time? I generally have pretty good luck with schedule changes (specifically with getting rerouted to more convenient airports when faced with a schedule change), but the agent I spoke to thought it was preposterous for me to suggest that 46 min in ORD during that time would be cutting it close, and refused to make any changes to my itinerary that were satisfactory (her suggestion involved an almost 4hr layover instead).
