That Westin is a fine, bland hotel that could be anywhere in the world. The Hyatt attempts to give a sense of being in Thailand and is very nice.
I wouldn't call it an attempt - the hotel is a very authentically Thai hotel. It is under Thai ownership, and is used heavily by locals for weddings and other social events, F&B, spa and fitness, etc..
