Not many threads on KQ so I figured I'd post this.

Traveling on a crazy MR purchased through DL.

The DXB-NBO-AMS leg is marketed KL but operated by KQ.

I am traveling on what I think is the cheapest fare--V Class.

I inquired just now at the transfer desk to UG to Business on DXB-NBO on a brand new 787 and they wanted $450.

I declined because I have a seat in the first row of Y and it's only a 5hr flight.

I tried to up NBO-AMS but the desk here told me I have to do that once I land in NBO; problem is that I only have a little over 1 hour connection so I will try and UG that flight as it is over 7 hrs.

Anyway...not a bad price to UG....
