We do:
As with other web browsers, Membership Credentials, entered in the
KVS Tool, are securely stored locally on each user's machine. Under no circumstances are they "routed to KVS servers", so we do not have access to them (nor do we have any need to).
Users also have an option of not saving passwords at all.
