QC25 Owners:
How happy are you with the Volume and Bass produced by your Headphones?

I (just very briefly) tried them last week and am tempted to look into decent NC Headphones again...

Unfortunately, when I tried the QC25 in a Bose Store, I happily listened to them at maximum volume (from the connected iPod Touch) which is... unsatisfying to me. I feel there should be room for more and ideally you'd find a decent volume at way below max. I also believe that the QC15 provide higher volume output.

Can't believe I type that (because I strongly dislike the hyped brand and horrible / extreme product placement) but when I tried Beats Studio 2.0 I felt that they were significantly louder and more suitable to my taste. However, the surroundings were too quiet so I didn't really get a feeling as to how different (or worse) the NC function on those is...

A replaceable and rechargeable battery would be a good option, as long as it's a standard size/voltage and the headphones supported in-device charging.
I am excited that they use AAA batteries. Have a look at Sanyo / Panasonic Eneloop rechargables. They last as long (if not longer) than top brand single use batteries and can be stored for years without losing their charge. Carry two of those and a USB Charger if you must, and you'll never run out of juice.
