Similar situation BOS-DEN. Wife wanted me to feel comfortable after 10 days on the road so she paid for an upgrade for me (#2) on the list with an RPU. It was $350 I believe which was more than I would have spent. However the surprise came when I received 150% qualifying miles. I didn't think this was supposed to happen.
