Whilst the buffet selection is quite similar, you also have:
- all the stuff in the displays, e.g. sushi, cheese, the mini sandwiches, balik salmon etc.
- all the salads
From the kitchen you can order:
- as you mentioned, various eggs, poached, omelettes
- herb mushroom crepes
- waffles and pancakes
- kippers
- fish cakes
- smoothies
- muesli that hasn't been sitting in the display chillers
and you can also order from the lunch and dinner menu. So, steak, or club sandwich for breakfast - no problem, I see people do that quite often.
I think it's inaccurate to say that the F lounge breakfast offering is pretty much identical to the buffet in J; in fact, I think it's vastly superior. Except that they removed chocolate croissants and replaced them with apple turnovers. That was an error I think...
