According to our records, you submitted a claim on October 8th, which was approved for one night at Le Méridien St. Julians Hotel & Spa. The rate has already been changed to reflect this.
The other (multiple) submissions you made were either closed as a duplicate request or because the availability changed and there was no availability on either website when the BRG claim was reviewed.
So, the answer is...yes, you can make a BRG claim if rooms are sold out on Starwood proprietary web sites and there is availability on a valid third party web site within the parameters of the BRG terms and conditions; and, your successful experience proves this.
