Zippos are OK, Bics are ok. It is the refillable butanes or torch lighters that are banned..and the lighter fluid and butane can too. Supposedly, the "1 per pax" limit has been eased. Problem is, you see variation from airport to airport and so can't even rely on the TSA published guidelines. Some of the TSA folks I think look for trophies to justify their existence. I also think some of them take things because either they don't like you or because your attitude is not to their liking.
