No, it's not. There is no CHIP. It's a mag stripe only. That's why I found it odd that it was accepted in an unattended kiosk with a PIN...
Yeah, that is weird. Overseas plenty of machines didn't even have a magstripe reader at all. The only way to pay was to insert the card into the reader.
In other news, it's been 4 days and still I have not gotten any points from the stories I posted on the Travel Community. I've got 2,500 points owed to me now.
