I've been using Accor hotesl for the last year through work and have built up a few points (14k). I am looking to spend a weekend in Vienna and fancy the Sofitel based on a number of recommendations. When I book online, I don't see an option to use only a certain number - say 8k, where by default 14k are applied.

I have read here that you can buy a voucher for x number of points, but this can only be applied to the Best Available Rate at the hotel upon check-in/out. While booking online, you can generally apply the voucher to advanced pre-paid rates.

Is there any way around this, or is it as simple (I hope) as I have explained it!?
