I find it amazing that Starwood-owned properties would opt-out of this. To me, that says a lot about Starwood's commitment to these kind of promotions and sets a very bad example for property owners already reluctant to follow corporate customer-friendly initiatives.
This idea that Starwood is trying to come up with excellent quarterly promotions but property owners just won't jump into the bandwagon of Starwood's generosity is bogus: its very own hotels are opting-out...
I mean why would a franchisee like Mystique, Santorini or Marqués de Riscal join More For You when properties that are owned by Starwood don't ?
