So the A319 isn't being brought "back in" in mid-December, it's being brought in for the first time.
So my counter-question is: Why would they bring in a new type of plane on this route in mid-December if they're going to drop it right away?
(And it's been marked as an A319 flight since I booked it back in March.)
The A319 is being flown on the route now.
