I am skeptical Cabo will be in any real state to welcome guests based on reports coming from there. It is presently under martial law and all the stores have been looted and gutted. The hotels and airport are in severe disrepair.
I tried calling the AAdvantage Gold desk, but they held firm even when asking to rebook elsewhere. Any advice?
This is my 40th birthday vacation, we have been planning for a few years. I'm ok with it not being "perfect", but I don't think Cabo San Lucas is going to be ready for serious resort traffic in 7 weeks.
