I've flown many years and have had great/good/bad service on NW and DL. I do not see what a Union would do to improve
my flt on DL? I see what the Union / Management is doing at UA and soon to come AA / US. It's not good.
DL has been Non-Union for 70+ years (except pilots and a few others), and has been great for me.
Hell, I'll take a 7-8% profit sharing check. Under a Union contract, would you receive that? I don't think so unless written into the contract. I read DL also gave raises recently.
Just get me from A-B with decent service, a smile and on-time.
If you think DL is a crap company - apply at the "new UA".
I now fly DL LAS-SLC-SFO to avoid UA. Or, LAS-SFO on WN.
As for things getting bumpy. I think most FA's are happy, unless it is a fake smile and greeting. I don't hear all the "DL hate" coming from behind the curtain, and
yes we can hear it. Lately it seems to be "DL just started XXX-YYY, I going to bid on that or I'm going with the kid's to MCO or OGG next week.
And if this Union talk is going to start again - please don't put me though it again at 35,000 feet in a tube of metal, .....ing behind the curtain . I paid for my seat and can I have another G&T with lime. Thank you.
