Day 13

We head over to Death Valley:















Being May, the temperature is already very high and we stay out of the car only for the limited time needed to take pics.

Rhyolite is a semi-abandoned village out of the valley, more or less on the way to Las Vegas:











Lunch at Denny’s in Beatty:







And on to the city of perdition! We return the car, head to Hilton Doubletree Las Vegas:



I was about to say I like the… but realized it’s better if I say that I like the logo!







We venture in the city of thousand lights:

























Words cannot describe the folly. It deserves a longer visit.

McDonald’s finally!







A visit to the slot machines:





Here something interesting happens. Being the kind and generous soul I am, I give the miss all the money she needs to play the slot machines. When she wins this enormous amount of money, she claims it’s her own and refuses to split!
