Day 12

Early wake up and off to Sequoia national park:









The sandwich does not look good, but it’s tasty and light – no sauces, only meat lettuce and cheese:



Yay! under the tree finally, I’ve always wanted to do that:



Climb time. It’s a long way to the top (puff puff pant pant):









Approaching the General:





The General is huge and even with the 10-24 lens I struggle to take a picture of the entire tree from a close position:







After the visit we start our ride towards the next park:







The Joshua tree! Score! ok maybe not the original one used by U2, but still a Joshua tree:





The night sees us at the Hampton Inn Ridgecrest:









And we have dinner at the Grape Leaf:









Quite good. I can’t say we have had a very bad dinner so far.
