Day 3

The day after we wake up early and rush to Monument Valley:

When we get there the weather is cloudy, and we decide to have lunch before strolling around. Notwithstanding the look, it is not bad:

Right after lunch we take the Sentinel Mesa foot path (I dare not use the Sonic on dirt roads) and as soon as we’re approaching the mesas and we are far away from the base camp, what looks like a sandstorm begins. Olé!

We get back to the car and return to Hilton Flagstaff Doubletree:
