I miss the Big E (Eastern States Exposition). Haven't been back since I moved from West Springfield in 1989. My kids would get the day off from school and we'd go as a family. I would gorge myself on fried dough - always with sauce rather than cinnamon-sugar.

Watch out for that big yellow slide. One of the kids' friends got a surprise episiotomy from a screw that was sticking up.
