Attempted to use a DSU on a cash and points booking and was told not available. But DSU would be available on an all-cash booking though.
Tried at least 5 agents already with the same response. A reservations agent from the hotel also told me the same thing.

While I cannot make any promises without specifics, I have been advised from Gold Passport management that these situations are being scrutinized and we're working to fix them. If Cash + Points is available
and the suite type used for Diamond Suite Upgrades is available, it
should be available for Cash + Points + Diamond Suite Upgrade. Could you kindly PM me the reservation details so I may have a look?
