As a result of the "comfort" addition, I start to wonder if they actually are planning to use this reconfig option very frequently.
If they plan to do it in switch between summer&winter season, it would be easy enough to plan an aircraft on the ground for the extra hours it needs.
Also, while no general overnight slack, many routes does not need all 24 hours, so I guess with some advance notice it would be possible to schedule and make one bird sit on the ground long enough. No worse than schedule maintenance, I suppose.
