Totally agree. If you read OP's post, he says they're spending three nights of their honeymoon in Waikiki. I take that to mean there will be other nights spent elsewhere.

If I can spend a week on Oahu, I split my time between the craziness of Waikiki and the total chill of the North Shore. I really enjoy both. Among other things, in Waikiki you can enjoy some of the best Japanese food in the world outside of Japan (Marukame! Marukame! Marukame!).
