Agreed. For a honeymoon, I'd get off of Oahu altogether in favor of one of the neighbor islands.
I think it comes down to what the couple like and want to do. Quiet and intimate would be my choice, but not everyone's.
Personally, I'd probably go for something low-key and beachy, such as the Makena Resort on Maui, since it's in a quiet part of Maui and is set on quiet, beautiful Japanese-themed grounds. But that's me.
