If you're set on going, you really need to book a room in the Alii Tower. This will give you a more quiet experience, allow you to lounge at the 2nd floor pool that is exclusive to the tower, and also give you a personal feel.

We had a Ocean View room in the Alii Tower and it was PERFECT!

Good luck and happy honeymoon!
I agree with pokee, Alii Tower is a good choice. Hilton HV can be a zoo, especially the pools, and even if you like all the action, it's nice to retreat to Alii and the exclusive pool. Your rates do seem pretty high.... What are your dates?
Do not count on an upgrade at HHV.
If you are limited to Oahu, and want to consider more secluded, check out the Kahala Resort. Good luck!
