Option #1 - RAINBOW TOWER HARBOR/OCEAN VIEW KG $354/nt
Option #2 - LAGOON 1 KG BEDROOM OCEAN VW SUITE $390/nt
The price above includes taxes & resort fees. I am leaning toward the Rainbow Tower for potential upgrades and it being just a bit cheaper. Any thoughts? Are there upgrades available when staying at the Grand Vacations side? Much of a difference in towers between Lagoon & Rainbow? While the kitchen is nice at the Grand Vacations room, I do not see us using it all that much.
Thanks!
The best upgrade you're likely to get in the Rainbow is to an Ocean Front. Those views are spectacular.
I haven't stayed in Grand Vacations. The building is quite a bit farther from the beach, and the lobby is definitely more tranquil than the main resort area.
I really like the HHV, but like Waikiki itself, it's crowded and at times chaotic.

Have you actually stayed in either Rainbow or Grand Vacations towers? One of the great things about FT is people share their experience here.
