What grates on me during the flight is the way the steep angle of the foot well pushes your knees together. That and you're not really free to move your feet. Shoulder width is okay in an upright position but pretty cramped in lie flat mode. Padding isn't great, but as far as I can tell that's common with just about every lie-flat out there.

The A330 seat is superior in almost every way. If given a choice I'll skip the 764 every time.
