OP, good luck on the upgrades! Lie flat or not, I'm sure you'll be happy with any upgrade. I do like the upper deck on the A380 as W is much better than sitting in Y.
Last Friday, I flew JFK-ATL on a 752 domestic BE. Just the usual first class seating.
