I have friends that live in Bellingham and I went to visit them back in March. We met in Fairhaven (just slightly south of Bellingham and is right on the water (it is near the Alaska ferry terminal)). Anyways, the area of Fairhaven has plenty of places to eat at (we ate at Fairhaven Pizza) plus plenty of shops/stores to walk around aftewards.
