With Continuity, this feature set will get extended to to traditional SMS/text message and standard cellular voice calls. During the keynote, you saw samples of calls and text being answered on Macs and iPads and they were clear this was not iMessages or Facetime calls. They referred to the text messages as our "green bulb" friends denoting classic text messages.

Their hypo, however, implied where your phone was charging in the bedroom and you were on the deck with your iPad. I'm wondering if I can extend the principle to places where your iPhone is a continent away.

We may need to wait until September to figure that one out.
