I applied on July 7 and received instant approval. Yesterday, July 8, I received a notice from UPS of a pending delivery of a Next Day Air package from Citicorp due by 10:30 AM today.
It turned out to be the notice of approval confirming the 100,000 AAdvantage bonus miles after spending $10K in three months.
Since I'm leaving town tomorrow, I called to inquire about the whereabouts of the card. I was advised that it would be here by 10:00 AM tomorrow. I asked the representative for the tracking number. It was sent yesterday by FedEx standard overnight service and is due for delivery later today.
