Booked Club Room (IHG Special rate) and received Diplomatic Suite (room 3301)
How are the rooms?

This was my first stay here and the woman escorting me from the lounge to my suite told me this was a really good upgrade. She said it was their second best suite. The reason they upgraded me was because it was my first stay, so they wanted me to get a good experience. Mission accomplished I say.
How is the exec. lounge?
I enjpoyed it thoroughly. The staff is really nice and attentive. The food (canapes) was probably the best I've eaten in any club lounge.
Did you receive a welcome gift?
Yes, a bottle of Red Wine. According to the letter I was supposed to receive another gift as well, but I didn't see anything. Didn't bother either. I rarely bring the gifts from the hotel anyways.
Did you receive fruit in the room?
Yes
How was the minibar?
It was ok. No wine, but lots of beer. The spirit bottles were big ones, so good value as an RA, if you have any.
