Whilst on the plus side this allowed the Conrad to upgrade me from a standard room to the suite with terrace (which is great IMHO) the downside is the breakfast offering.

Whilst I had experienced the Conrad to ask their guests with Exec Lounge access to use the restaurant rather than the lounge for breakfast, the occupancy level must be now so shockingly low that the ask ALL guests to use the lounge as the restaurant is closed. So if you're looking for a relaxing breakfast in the lounge the Conrad is not the place to be at the moment as the lounge is too small to handle all guests in an effective manner.

Wow, that is shocking. Does anyone know if this is still the case? I will be in BKK in a couple of weeks and still deciding where to stay.
