I think the T3 lounges are open 24H. If they are, you could doze for a few hours in reasonably comfortable chairs: there are soft drinks, tea and coffee, and a modest range of snack foods.
Otherwise you'll (probably) need a $25 visa each time you enter Egypt. The airport Novotel is usually bookable at sub-$100 levels (they'll arrange pick-ups with decent levels of efficiency...): the new Meridien is more expensive, but VERY convenient (attached to T3).
