Recently I flew YYZ/CAI on the 777 300 in business class (I was in the first of two business class cabins). Big comfy seats and very generous leg room. Seat obviously went fully flat.
Service was good and very fast and the food quality was good. Dinner consisted of a first course of shrimp and salad (along with a regular small salad). The grapes/cheese/crackers were brought with this first course as well long with warm white/brown bread options. There was no menu, simply the main course was trolleyed around and you selected a choice of seafood, chicken or beef. I went with the seafood with rice and more vegetables and it was good. For dessert there were two phases, first a healthy one with a la carte fresh fruit on the trolley (generous portion). A few moments later they came around with the sinful stuff with tea/coffee.
Breakfast was continental style and healthy. Fruit, jar of honey, jar of jam, warm croissants/white bread/whole wheat rolls/whole wheat buns. The usual juices and coffee/tea which they refilled a couple of times along with the bread.
Overall a good experience with friendly/smiling flight attendants. ^
On my return flight that departed at 03:00, I obviously skipped "dinner" and went right to bed (personally I would preferred they served a snack then and a hearty breakfast). Breakfast was continental style however and to my surprise did not have the fresh fruit that was so plentiful on my trip to Cairo. When I asked about why they offered "canned type fruit" in business class , I was told that the fresh fruit was only offered for dinner on this routing. They then brought me some fresh grapes and an apple to make amends.
